Italian-Peruvian soccer player Gianluca Lapadula was happy on his first day of training with the Peruvian soccer squad at the National Sports Village (Videna), where the striker is getting ready to play against Chile and Argentina in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifiers.

Lapadula posted a photo of himself wearing the training gear of the national soccer team.

In the picture, he can be seen smiling and happy for the opportunity that Peru's head coach Ricardo Gareca has given him.

It must be noted that the 30-year-old Benevento Calcio attacker affirmed that it is an honor for him to wear the red-white jersey and that he is very happy with the call-up.

This way, Gianluca Lapadula hopes to make his debut with the Peruvian team in this double round of qualifiers against Chile and Argentina.

However, he will have to compete with Raul Ruidiaz and Aldair Rodriguez for the position and catch the eye of Gareca.
