President Boluarte lands in Peru after APEP Summit in U.S.

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte returned to the Peruvian capital, Lima, on Saturday morning after having participated in the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity (APEP) Leaders' Summit in Washington D.C., the United States.

This information was released by the Presidential Office on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter).

"President Dina Boluarte arrived in Lima this morning, after participating in the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity (APEP) Leaders' Summit, where she held meetings with heads of state and businesspeople to promote investment in our country," a post reads.

As is known, the President of the United States, Joe Biden, was also present at the summit.


The APEP is made up of the United States, Barbados, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Uruguay. Together, they account for 31.9% of global GDP.
