The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte affirmed on Friday that she will appear before the Attorney General's Office and tell the truth about the facts asked about.

In a televised address, the Head of State reiterated her commitment to continue working for the country until the last day of her administration.

"Before the Public Ministry, which by the way has already sent the notice to me and my lawyers have already appeared, I will be as always telling the truth, not only to the Attorney General's Office, but to Peru in general, and to our sisters and brothers," she said.

The dignitary noted that when she took office on December 7, 2022, she pledged to work with clean hands.

"I entered through the front door and I will leave on July 28, 2026, always with clean hands. This Andean woman comes from an honorable, decent family, who taught us honesty, loyalty, and to be grateful. I am a woman grateful to the Peruvian people, and I pledge my total loyalty to Peru," she added.

When asked about the comptroller's statements regarding what should be included in the Affidavit of Assets and Incomes, the President said that she is not in a situation of asset imbalance.

Moreover, Mrs. Boluarte affirmed that she will tell the truth about the facts before the Public Ministry.

Regarding the impeachment motion being promoted at Congress, she said this is the second motion of this type promoted by a sector with ideological interests, noting that Peru cannot develop with anarchist and radical positions.

However, the top official stated that they (members of Congress) are entirely free to present an impeachment motion and that she is not afraid of these plans.
