Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Cesar Landa has affirmed that the balance of powers is necessary for governability so as to benefit the population.

Similarly, the Cabinet member stressed the importance of dialogue between the Executive Branch and the opposition.

"We expect short-term and medium-term results that guarantee the strengthening of democratic governability, which is essential for our country," the Cabinet member told TVPeru.

On the other hand, regarding the provision by Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador to visit Peru in order to hand over the Pacific Alliance Pro-Tempore Presidency to Peruvian counterpart Pedro Castillo, Minister Landa affirmed it is an important gesture of presidential diplomacy.
