Peru: President receives credentials from three Ambassadors and Apostolic Nuncio

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Tuesday afternoon received credential letters from the Ambassadors designated by of Algeria, Paraguay, and Guatemala.


The envoys are Kamel Retieb (People's Democratic Republic of Algeria), Ruben Ortiz (Paraguay), and Carlos Escobedo Menendez (Guatemala).


They conveyed the greetings of their respective governments and peoples to President Boluarte.


Likewise, the Head of State received the credentials from the Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See in Peru, Monsignor Paolo Rocco.

The ceremony began at 4:00 p.m. (local time) at the emblematic Golden Hall of the Government Palace in Lima.

During the event, the top dignitary was accompanied by Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi.

Moreover, the marching band of the Mariscal Nieto Presidential Escort performed the national anthems of each country.

Earlier today, the country's top official held a meeting with the representatives of journalists' associations, also at the Government Palace.

Thus, Mrs. Boluarte met with members of the Board of Directors of the Peruvian Press Council (CPP).

Likewise, the President of the Republic met with members of the National Board of Directors and Regional Deans of the Journalists' Association of Peru.
