As part of a working visit, the
inspected the facilities of the Navy's Industrial Services (SIMA) located in the Constitutional Province of Callao.
At the site, the Head of State toured the institution's facilities, which offer—among other services—the construction of various types of vessels, as well as their repair and maintenance.
The top official was accompanied by Ministers Vicente Tiburcio (Interior), Lesly Shica (Development and Social Inclusion), Luis Quiroz (Health), Oscar Fernandez (Labor), and Cesar Quispe (Production).
This marked President Jeri's second official activity of the day.
Earlier, he met with transportation workers' unions in Lima's Rimac district after walking from the Government Palace.
Subsequently, the Head of State inspected the Callao Monitoring Center, where he was briefed on the security measures being carried out at the facility. Also present was Callao Mayor Pedro Spadaro.
Later, the President conducted a supervisory visit to the operator of the multipurpose North Terminal at Peru's main port as part of his working visit.
