The business community is the development driver of a country, President Martin Vizcarra affirmed Thursday at the opening of the III CEO Summit of the Americas.
"I'm convinced that micro, small, medium, and large-sized entrepreneurs are the economic development engines in favor of our nations," the statesman expressed.
According to the Head of State, this business meeting will serve to open a productive dialogue between public and
private sectors.
Likewise, the gathering will address the challenges and opportunities facing the Americas to achieve
inclusive and quality
growth.
President Vizcarra also pointed out the urgency of creating opportunities and conditions for new businesses —particularly SMEs— which includes a large number of women and young entrepreneurs.
Furthermore, the Peruvian leader deemed necessary to decisively tackle
corruption by promoting a culture of integrity in the region.
