For the second consecutive day, the President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Wednesday continued paying unexpected visits at dawn to State-run institutions.

This time, the Head of State arrived at five police stations —two of them located in Callao region, the other two in Lima's San Martin de Porres, and one in the center area— to verify the services provided to the population.

At La Perla police station (Callao region), the top official supervised the work of police members in favor of the community and urged them to continue working professionally and diligently —especially in the field of citizen security.

He did the same at Ciudad del Pescador Police Station, located in Callao's Bellavista district.

The top official also paid an unexpected visit to police personnel of Barboncito and San Martin de Porres police stations —both located in San Martin de Porres district.

Mr. Castillo ended his tour at Alfonso Ugarte police station, which is located on the avenue of the same name, in Lima Center.

Following the visits, President Castillo emphasized that authorities must be at the service of the people, adding that they must fulfill their duties to give the population peace of mind.

"The people have chosen us to be on their side," he emphasized and reiterated that unexpected visits will not only continue in Lima, but will also take place in different Peruvian regions.
