Peru: President Castillo expresses gratitude and appreciation for health care staff

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Tuesday expressed his eternal gratitude and appreciation for each of the health sector's members on the occasion of the Day of Peruvian Medicine.


During the event, he said health care must be a constitutional right for all Peruvians across the country, for which he noted the required budget needs to be allocated to the health sector.

The Day of Peruvian Medicine is celebrated every 5th of October in memory of the martyr Daniel Alcides Carrion.

Meeting with labor minister

On the other hand, the Head of State held a meeting with Labor and Employment Promotion Minister Iber Maravi to address priority labor issues for the Government.
