The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Monday announced that more changes will be made within the Ministerial Cabinet in the coming days.

As is known, the Head of State administered the oath of office to four State Ministers on Sunday evening.

"Last night, we decided to make some ministerial changes, and we will continue to do so in the coming days because our ministers are constantly assessed; State ministers owe it to the people," he said.

Remarks were made at a meeting with discharged members of the Armed Forces at the Government Palace in Lima.

During the meeting, he asked to be informed if government officials or directors at government ministries take the name of the Government to get their own profit.

Mr. Castillo commented that during work visits some people request to get a photograph with him and then use the picture to claim that they are government spokespersons.

"The only government spokesperson is the Prime Minister," he emphasized.

Moreover, the President expressed his commitment to making regulations for the law that benefits discharged members of the Armed Forces, noting that it recognizes their work for the country.

"I have given instructions to the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers to address the regulation of said law during the Council's next session," he remarked.
