Peru's Health Minister Pilar Mazzetti and Congress Chairman Manuel Merino met on Monday morning to exchange views on the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.
According to the
Ministry of Health (Minsa), the two authorities addressed the need to strengthen the health system, with the aim of assisting the population and saving more lives.
On Sunday, Mazzetti revealed that the health protocols governed by her portfolio and aimed at different productive sectors will be adapted and updated in order to be more expeditious.
This will facilitate the country's economic recovery in the current context of health emergency caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
