The government official mentioned that, thanks to the approved supplementary credit, the Peruvian State will rely on greater flexibility for public spending, thus enhancing economic development and recovery in the country.
"This year, over the last four months since April, we have been growing at rates exceeding 5%. May recorded a growth rate of 5.04%, and we expect June to show a figure exceeding 4%. By the end of this year, we anticipate exceeding the projections of both the Central Bank and the Economy Ministry, which stand at 3.2%," Arista stated.
"But overall, what we want is for this growth, this improvement in economic well-being, to reach every corner of the country. The objective of this supplementary credit is to extend growth, well-being, and to strengthen the foundations for development across all parts of this country, in the 1,816 districts, all provinces, and regions. That is the main goal," he added.
In this regard, Minister Arista underlined that these resources are aimed at assisting economically vulnerable families. Therefore, special support is being provided to those sectors attached to the Ministries of Labor-Employment Promotion and Development-Social Inclusion.
"We want the entire population to integrate or reintegrate, in some cases, into economic growth, and that somehow, we all benefit from this economic improvement," he emphasized.
