on Wednesday affirmed that the Finance and Central Bank Deputies Meeting (FCBDM), which will take place in Arequipa starting today, is aimed at strengthening small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
"What is taking place today is one of the four-day meetings in Arequipa, where there is also an important security deployment; what is being addressed starting today are the technological and economic aspects, highly oriented to strengthening the economy of SMEs and others," he said in remarks to RPP Noticias.
In that sense, the high-ranking official explained that like this meeting in Arequipa, technical gatherings will also be held, which are aimed at the success of the Leaders' Summit later this year.
