The year 2025 is ending with a well-earned musical legacy that has made Lima one of the most sought-after destinations for international artists. Along with them, renowned singers such as Sting, Joaquín Sabina, Roberto Carlos, The Offspring, Hombres G, Marilyn Manson, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Linkin Park, Aerosmith, and Billy Idol, to name just a few.

The genre of love songs was also present in our country with groups and personalities such as Reik, Río Roma, Sin Bandera, Chayanne, and even nostalgia with figures like Flor Bertotti and her hits from Floricienta.

Salsa was also present with legendary groups and solo artists. El Gran Combo even graced the Gran Teatro Nacional with their music, celebrating their more than six decades of existence.

The female presence, led by Shakira, electrified the National Stadium in Lima at the beginning and end of the year as part of her "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour."

Shakira's show was impressive, with a high-level production that included visual effects, LED screens, and synchronized choreography. Shakira performed her greatest hits, such as "La Fuerte," "Girl Like Me," "Hips Don't Lie," and "Waka Waka," as well as her most recent songs.

Her presence unleashed euphoria among the more than 40,000 attendees at the National Stadium, who sang and danced, demonstrating why she is one of the biggest stars in Latin music.

Also arriving in Lima was the majestic Dua Lipa, an attractive, charismatic singer with hit songs. The Albanian-Kosovar singer had the audience in the palm of her hand.

In Lima, Dua Lipa dined at one of the restaurants of chef Gastón Acurio, who brought Peruvian cuisine to the international stage, and at Maido, which was once considered the number one restaurant in the world.

On stage, Dua Lipa invited the great Peruvian musician Mauricio Mesones to join her, and together they ignited the National Stadium with the popular song "Cariñito," a song that was sung along to by the crowd and became the starting point for countless articles chronicling her visit to Peru.

Our country also witnessed Joaquín Sabina's farewell performance. With his "Hello and Goodbye" tour, which marked the end of his career.

It was an emotional and nostalgic event. The Spanish singer-songwriter performed on March 17th at the Multiespacio Costa 21 on the Costa Verde, playing some of his greatest hits, such as "19 Days and 500 Nights," "Melancholy Street," "Who Stole April from Me," and "Princess," among others.

The audience was visibly moved and sang along to every song, creating an intimate and poignant atmosphere that provided the perfect backdrop for this farewell to a country that not only surrendered to his charm but also shared a deep connection with him.

Rock music also made its presence felt in Peru with Sting. His concert was a gem for his fans, and Peru was a must-see destination for the British musician.

After a long wait, his return to Peru was finally possible, and seeing him on stage performing his hits left more than one fan speechless. Today, Sting is dedicated to environmental activism, and the British megastar demonstrated on stage why he's such a beloved icon.

Romantic fans also had Chayanne on stage, and it was a show worthy of being forever etched in the memories of his fans and new admirers.

Chayanne, displaying incredible energy and excellent physical condition, showcased his musical and choreographic prowess. During his performance, he performed a selection of his classic hits and new compositions that made him one of the most talked-about artists on stage. He also visited Arequipa before continuing his tour through Latin America.

From the Northern Hemisphere, the American band Linkin Park performed on October 28th at the San Marcos Stadium as part of their "From Zero World Tour," and they rocked Peru with their spectacular production and music.

The group performed their greatest hits and songs from their new album, "From Zero," with Emily Armstrong as lead vocalist. The concert lasted approximately two hours, which wasn't enough for their fans.

For rock fans, lovers of Spanish-language rock, Hombres G's performance of "Gracias Perú" was undoubtedly a blast from the past.

With nearly two hours on stage and a setlist that included hits like "Te Quiero," "Devuélveme a mi Chica," "Si no te Tengo a Ti," and "El Ataque de las Chicas Cocodrilo," the band, composed of David Summers, Rafa Gutiérrez, Javier Molina, and Daniel Mezquita, delivered an emotional and joyful performance that captured the essence of Hombres G and their musical legacy.

The band expressed their gratitude to Peruvian fans for their support and affection after selling out in just 48 hours. Hombres G bid farewell to Lima with an unforgettable show, leaving their fans with the feeling of having experienced a magical moment.

Finally, Aerosmith also said goodbye to Peru in 2025 with an epic concert last October at the National Stadium as part of their "Rock N' Roll Rumble - Aerosmith Style" tour.

The concert featured Bush as the opening act, and the production was handled by Move Concerts Peru. The band performed their greatest hits, including "Cryin'," "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing," "Crazy," "Love in an Elevator," and "Dream On."
