Peru: President Balcazar to lead first Council of Ministers session in Loreto

The President of the Republic, Jose Maria Balcazar, traveled to rainforest Loreto region alongside State ministers to carry out a working agenda in Iquitos focused on unlocking priority projects for the population.

As part of this initiative, the Head of State will lead the first decentralized Council of Ministers session, reaffirming the Government's commitment to working from the territory to accelerate development and well-being in Peru’s Amazon.

Accompanying the President on this trip are Cabinet Chief Luis Arroyo, as well as Ministers Javier Flores (Defense), Rodolfo Acuña (Economy and Finance), and Luis Enrique Jimenez (Justice and Human Rights).

Also joining the trip are Ministers Wilder Alejandro Sifuentes (Housing, Construction and Sanitation), Cesar Manuel Quispe (Production), and Edith Pariona (Women and Vulnerable Populations), among others.
