led a working meeting with representatives of various transport associations to directly address the fight against criminal organizations affecting users and transport business owners.
"During the meeting, the measures being implemented to confront these criminal organizations and ensure safer public transportation were detailed," the Presidential Office reported via social media on Monday evening.
The Head of State reaffirmed that police efforts in this matter have firm support and political determination.
Cabinet Chief Denisse Miralles, as well as Ministers Hugo Begazo (Interior), Aldo Prieto (Transportation and Communications), and Deputy Minister Juan Haro (Transportation) participated in the session.
Also in attendance were Peruvian National Police (PNP) General Commander Oscar Arriola, PNP General Victor Revoredo, and Urban Transport Authority for Lima and Callao (ATU) Chairman David Hernandez.
During the event, both sides reaffirmed their willingness to continue strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries, especially emphasizing security, defense, and the promotion of strategic investments.
