The sector emphasized that the government reiterates that honoring State commitments is not an option, but an obligation.
"Acting differently would have meant shifting higher costs onto the country and compromising its economic stability and international reputation," the MEF said.
It was likewise stated that the operation does not affect attention to national priorities.
"The government will continue allocating resources to close gaps in citizen security, healthcare, education, transport, and basic services, for the direct benefit of the population," the MEF said in a press release.
