stressed that formal employment grew 3.4% nationwide last October compared with the same month in 2024.
Formal employment has recorded 19 consecutive months of expansion due to this result.
"This growth translated into the creation of 212,000 new jobs," the issuing entity underscored.
In the private sector, formal jobs increased by 4.2% year-on-year last October.
"During the month, the services, farming, and commerce sectors were where the largest number of jobs were created, totaling 83,000, 41,000, and 31,000 new jobs, respectively," the BCR detailed.
