The Executive Branch revoked the provision that required public entities to use the phrase "El Peru a toda maquina" (Peru in full gear) in their institutional advertising.
The latter had mandated the use of the logo and the phrase in the informational advertising of all Executive Branch entities.
The measure was adopted at the proposal of the Social Communication Secretariat, the body responsible for coordinating and implementing the government’s communications policy.
According to the provisions, the decision is based on the installation of a new government, which will take place once the current Cabinet Chief, Denisse Miralles, requests the confidence vote from Congress and obtains its approval.
As is known, under the repealed regulation, the slogan "El Peru a toda maquina" was intended to reflect an administration focused on sustained action in addressing challenges such as crime.
