will conduct elections on Monday, April 13, to choose the President of the Republic, two vice presidents, senators and deputies of the bicameral Congress, as well as Peruvian representatives to the Andean Parliament, at 13 polling places in Lima.
This electoral day will take place at polling places located in three districts of Lima, where a total of 52,261 voters were unable to cast their ballots on Sunday.
ONPE reported that, in order to guarantee the constitutional right to vote for these citizens, 187 polling tables will be set up, operating from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (local time).
For this electoral day, the agency will use its own vehicles to transport electoral materials, ensuring that the affected citizens can exercise their right to vote.
Polling places
At a press conference held Sunday, ONPE Chief Piero Corvetto reported that polling tables could not be installed in Metropolitan Lima districts of San Juan de Miraflores (3), Lurin (7), and Pachacamac (3).
The electoral process taking place today will allow voters in these jurisdictions to fully exercise their right to suffrage, as guaranteed by the Political Constitution of Peru.
