Bernardo Navarro confirmed as U.S. Ambassador to Peru

Bernardo Navarro has been confirmed as United States Ambassador to Peru, the U.S. diplomatic mission reported.

"Congratulations to the Ambassador-designate to Peru, Bernardo Navarro, who was confirmed by the United States Senate. We look forward to welcoming him and his family soon," the U.S. Embassy in Lima posted on social media recently. 

The U.S. diplomat mission has been headed by Joan Perkins, Chargé d’Affaires, since April 2025.
