President Jose Jeri led a series of territorial control operations in various parts of Metropolitan Lima, as part of the actions being carried out by the Peruvian National Police (PNP) to reinforce citizen security and directly combat crime.
The tour began in the district of La Victoria, where the President, accompanied by the Minister of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, Wilder Sifuentes, oversaw a police operation that resulted in the seizure of packets of drugs inside a house located on Jorge Chávez Street, representing a direct blow to micro-trafficking networks.
Later, the President traveled to the Rimac police station, where he observed the work being carried out by the National Police to ensure the safety of the district's residents.
He then visited the command post at Plaza Gastañeta and the Alfonso Ugarte police station, both located in downtown Lima, from where patrols and immediate response operations to criminal activity are coordinated.
The agenda continued in the Lince district, where President Jeri, accompanied by Interior Minister Vicente Tiburcio, oversaw the operation of the mobile surveillance post.
There, President Jeri emphasized the importance of these units in reinforcing police presence in areas with high pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

Subsequently, the president arrived at the Yerbateros police station in the San Luis district, where he also reviewed the results of an operation that led to a drug seizure.
The day continued at the Chacra Colorada police station in the Breña district to observe the work being carried out by the National Police in critical areas of the municipality.
Finally, President Jeri reaffirmed the Government's commitment to continue deploying comprehensive operations and coordinated efforts among law enforcement agencies to guarantee the peace and security of all Peruvians.
