The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo has affirmed that he will govern transparently, with very clear objectives such as ensuring health for Peruvians and achieving economic reactivation, in order to improve the living conditions of all citizens.

The Head of State said that he hopes that all Peruvians will have the same opportunities and can access high-quality educational services by the end of his term in office.

"I have come so that our brothers can stay healthy. We are going to revive the economy, and we hope that Congress and authorities can work together to achieve the massive use of the natural gas," he stated.

"We also hope that the upcoming electoral process will feature Peruvian candidates who are not in conflict with the law. We want transparency in government," he added.

The country's top official stressed the need for the country's main problems to be solved through dialogue, which is why he called on legislators to go along that path, since the Executive Branch "does not close its doors to anyone."

Mr. Castillo also called for the unity of Peruvian people in order to help the Government to meet citizens' needs in education, health, employment, and thus promote national development.

During the interview, he emphasized that many Peruvian professionals are able to contribute to the country's growth, so he referred to a broad call to achieve the well-being of all Peruvians.

Remarks were made on Sunday night during an interview with Hablemos Claro TV show.
