on Wednesday highlighted the progress in goods exports, which reached US$26.762 billion in the first four months of 2025, reflecting a 26% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
"Peru continues to move forward strongly!" the Presidential Office expressed via social media, after noting that mining, fishing, metallurgy, and agricultural exports are driving this result.
The main destinations for Peruvian goods were China, the United States, and the European Union.
"Peru with Strength, and let’s keep taking the best of our land to the world," the post reads.
The Peruvian Exporters Association (Adex) reported that exports rose by 28.2% in April, marking 12 consecutive months of growth.
Mining was the leading activity, with US$17.28 billion in exports (a 27.9% increase), driven by higher shipments of copper and unrefined gold, which together accounted for 63.2% of primary exports.
