Peru's complementary elections: When and where will they take place? Who will participate?

The 2023 complementary municipal elections will be held on Sunday, July 2 in 12 districts of eight regions across the country, where said elections were declared null during the corresponding process back in 2022.

The complementary municipal elections will be held in the following districts: Canis (Ancash region), Recta (Amazonas region), Lari (Arequipa rion), Chimban (Cajamarca region), Pion (Cajamarca region), Huamantanga (Lima region), Aco (Ancash region), Chinchihuasi (Huancavelica region), Manitea (Cusco region), Salcabamba (Huancavelica region), and  Aparicio Pomares (Huanuco region).

The district of Ninabamba in Cajamarca region will not take part in said elections as no list of pre-candidates was submitted for the internal election process prior to the designation of the candidates who will represent each political organization.

Below is the list of candidates for district mayors who will participate at the complementary elections in each of the above-mentioned jurisdictions, as well as the political parties they represent:
