The Government of Peru appointed Fortunato Ricardo Quesada Seminario as new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the State of Israel.

The appointment was made official by Supreme Resolution published today in El Peruano official gazette.

This takes place in accordance with the Peruvian Constitution, which established the presidential power to appoint ambassadors and ministers plenipotentiary with the approval of the Cabinet. 

Corresponding credentials and full powers shall be issued to the diplomat as provided by said document.

Also, a subsequent ministerial resolution will set the date on which Quesada will officially take up his diplomatic duties. 

The resolution was signed by President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski and Foreign Affairs Minister Ricardo Luna Mendoza.
