Peru takes part in WorldFood Moscow 2017, the most important food and beverage fair in the Russian Federation, in order to promote the Inca country's exportable supply on the Eurasian market.

The International fair kicked off last Monday and will run thru September 14.

It must be noted Peruvian agricultural and fishery products are highly demanded by Eurasian Economic Union's markets, which also include Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

In this sense, WorldFood Moscow 2017 serves as a platform for Peruvian enterprises to showcase their products, expand their businesses and meet new trade partners.

This year, the Association of Peruvian Exporters (ADEX) joins the event with a national stand showcasing Superfoods. Said pavilion is sponsored by Peru's Embassy in Russia and Trade Office in Moscow.

Inca firms participating in this year's edition are Granos Agricolas del Peru, Amazon Andes Export, White Lion Foods, AgroCosta Peru and Inlape.

At the inauguration ceremony, Russian Deputy Agriculture Minister Eugeny Nepoklonov thanked Peru's Ambassador Benjamin Chimoy and entrepreneurs for their increasing presence on the Russian market.

The Peruvian Embassy also organized a business meeting featuring a delegation of Eurasian Economic Union representatives. The event will contribute to closing deals and extending the Inca country's presence in said emerging market.
