Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Thursday afternoon arrived in Cali to join the 12th Pacific Alliance (PA) Summit, along with counterparts from Chile, Colombia and Mexico.
Before departing to Colombia from Lima-based Air Group No.8, Mr. Kuczynski announced that PA's relations established with the United States, China and
Europe also stand out among significant themes that will be addressed.
"It will be an interesting gathering, and will be preceded by a meeting held by the businesspeople from PA's member countries […]," the President underlined.
As is known, the Peruvian leader will participate in the 4th
Business Summit of the PA today at 6:00 PM (local time).
He will take part in the panel under the name of "Dialogue on the opportunities and challenges of the Pacific Alliance as a linking platform with the Asia Pacific."
The summit will gather 500 high-level businesspeople and Heads of State from the bloc's 4 founding members: Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru, plus 52 observer states.
Such official meeting will be supported by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Pacific Alliance Business Council (CEAP) and other promotion entities.

The bloc fosters the free circulation of people, goods and services across its territories.
It also aims to harness the opportunities provided by economic and financial integration, thus guaranteeing solid and inclusive growth.
