Air Canada will introduce a new direct flight between Lima and Montreal on December 16, 2017, meaning an extension of the existing service between Toronto and the Peruvian capital.

According to Air Canada Sales Manager Patricia Lucar, the new service will consolidate Air Canada's position and grow the market quota between Canada and Peru.

Thanks to this route, Air Canada has been strategically positioned as a major player in the growing market between Montreal and South America.

The new route will commence operations on December 16 taking off from Montreal. Its last flight will depart Lima on May 27, 2018.

Flights will be operated by Air Canada Rouge, Canada's new stylishly affordable leisure airline, on a Boeing 767 aircraft with 282 seats.

The only non-stop flights between Montreal and Lima will take off twice a week. Departure from Lima is at 03:15 with an arrival in Montreal at 11:30.

On the other hand, return flights will depart Montreal at 17:10 and arrive in Lima at 01:45 the following day.

The Lima-Montreal route will facilitate connections to 23 international destinations and major Peruvian cities like Arequipa and Cusco.
