Protesters for and against Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Wednesday gathered in front of Venezuelan Embassy in Peru to express themselves regarding the current situation facing the oil country.

Carrying placards and whistles, Venezuelan opposition supporters condemned the State repression that has so far left two dead.

Likewise, they showed support to the rallies all over Caracas (capital of Venezuela) and other cities in different States.

According to Paulina Facchin, representative of the Venezuelan community in Peru, they advocate for democracy, freedom and free elections to change their country.

Right in front of them, another large group of Venezuelans —also based in Peru— backed Maduro's administration saying he is pro-democracy.
