The wife President Kuczynski, Nancy Lange, on Monday expressed her gratitude to Peruvian citizens for donations made for the thousands of families affected by heavy rains, landslides and flooding across the country.

"Thank you for the support provided so far. Above all, we request rice, oats, sugar and diaper rash creams. We are 'UnaSolaFuerza' [ASingleForce]," she tweeted referring to the government's campaign to support disaster victims.

In this sense, Mrs. Lange has led the collection of donations at Government Palace, one of the five relief aid collection points in Lima.

On Sunday, Mrs. Lange informed relief collected over the weekend is already on its way to the country's northern regions, which constitute some of the worst-hit areas.
