Peruvian Gastronomy Society (Apega) picked more than 180 restaurants that will delight thousands visitors to Mistura 2016, Latin America's most important food fair.
Chefs Hajime Kasuga and Andrés Ugáz disclosed the list of eating houses, huariques (places to eat traditional Peruvian dishes at good prices) and carretilleros (street food) that will amaze diners this September.
El Aguajal, Asakusa, and Miski Mikuy Wanka are some of the selected fusion eateries. Naruto and Dos Piratas are also good alternatives.
It must be noted Mistura 2016 culinary offer will be grouped into different food and beverage areas.
Over 450,000 people, including more than 35,000 foreign tourists, are expected to attend.
As is known, international visitors spend up to 10% of their budget on national gastronomy. Thus, they contribute to annual revenue bordering US$350 million.
Since its foundation, Mistura has managed to consolidate as one of the world's leading food fairs.
The event will take place at Lima's Costa Verde seashore on September 2nd-11th this year.
