President of the Council of Ministers, Ana Jara, affirmed today Peru’s social inclusion policy, promoted by the Peruvian government together with the development opportunities provided by local authorities and the entrepreneurial sector, enabled to lift over one million Peruvians out of poverty between 2011 and 2014.

“Those are official figures by the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) […] those are good news for the Peruvian people. There is no doubt about that,” the Prime Minister told.

“But, above all, in terms of foreign relations, [it is good] knowing Peru is a trustworthy destination, a country with which cooperation can be activated,” she added.

In this sense, she urged Peruvians to defend maintaining a social inclusion policy beyond the current administration.

The Prime Minister participated in the ceremony marking the delivery of green trucks donated by Japan.

Those are to be transferred to diverse governorships.
