Representatives from UNICEF and Russia gathered at Peru's Foreign Affairs Ministry headquarters with the purpose of signing a cooperation agreement to support the Inca country.
Through this instrument, the Russian Government agreed to donate US$400,000 to UNICEF.
Said amount will be invested in improving water access and sanitation services for the benefit of Peruvian minors, within the framework of the
Peru-UNICEF Programme of Cooperation.
It must be noted the signing ceremony also saw the presence of Peru's Foreign Ministry Economic Affairs Director-General Luis Quesada.
