The 8th Summit of the Americas will boost Peru's image among foreign investors, which can have a positive impact on private investment in the medium term nationwide, Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL) President Mario Mongilardi pointed out.
"We will show the region and the world that Peru wants institutionalism," Mongilardi told Andina news agency.
"We've gone through a hard time, but we've overcome it by complying with the institutional guidelines," he indicated in this sense.
The officer went on to add the best message for investors is that projects continue to move forward in the Inca country.
Within this framework, he noted the
impeachment motion was not an element stopping growth and optimism.
Business confidence
"We expect business confidence to fully recover in the medium term. Everything indicates there is less political noise, and we will work together to [reach] development," he noted.
