Startup Peru funds 68 entrepreneurship projects

Peru’s Ministry of Production (Produce) presented 68 projects sponsored by Startup Peru (Fourth Call), a state-run initiative granting seed capital for innovative entrepreneurial activities under the Innovate Peru platform.

The event took place at Casa Prado Convention Center at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Led by Produce, Startup Peru encourages the emergence and consolidation of new business ventures wishing to innovative products and high-tech content, pursue international markets, and create quality jobs.

Startup Peru’s merging is part of the National Plan for Productive Diversificatio (PNDP).

Innovative entrepreneurs at this fourth call shall be granted non-reimbursable funds ranging from S/50,000 (about US$14,885) to S/137,000 (about US$40,785), under categories open to bidding: Innovative Entrepreneurs, and Dynamic and High-Impact Entrepreneurs.
