After arriving in the nation's capital city of Lima on Thursday afternoon, Pope Francis blessed all Peruvian citizens who welcomed him to the Inca country.
The Head of the Catholic Church also sent his blessings to all families nationwide.
"Thanks from my heart. I would like to send my blessings to all of you and your families […]," he expressed before entering the Apostolic Nunciature building.
At the site, the Supreme Pontiff recited the Hail Mary and asked believers to pray for him.
"Pray for me. Don't forget that," he concluded.
He currently pays a four-day visit to the Inca country including cities Lima, Puerto Maldonado and Trujillo.
