11:26 | Auckland (New Zealand), Nov. 9.

Peru's national squad held its third training session on Thursday just two days before the World-Cup-qualifying playoff against the All Whites this weekend.

Practice kicked off at 4:00 PM local time (Wednesday at 10:00 PM in Peru) at Auckland's QBE Stadium.

As is known, Peru always starts training at 4:00 PM since the first match against New Zealand will be held at the same hour.

The purpose is to get athletes used to the weather and the wind speed at that moment of the day.

The whole squad took part in the sporting event. As is known, the entire team is reunited in New Zealand following the arrival of Europe-based players.

After the session, athletes returned to the hotel where they are staying while in Auckland.

It must be noted the Inca soccer team will be heading to Wellington in the next hours.

Matches

The first leg of Peru-New Zealand FIFA World Cup intercontinental playoff tie will take place at Wellington's Westpac Stadium on November 11 at 4:15 PM (local time).

The return leg will be held at Lima's National Stadium (Peru) on November 15 at 9:15 PM (local time).

Following both clashes, it will be known —finally— if Peruvians return to a World Cup after 36 years.
