Peru's Guerrero scores at World Cup

Peru's top forward Paolo Guerrero scored the second goal for the Incas in the game against Australia at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia on Tuesday.

The striker's first goal at such tournament came in the 50th minute following a pass by teammate Christian Cueva.

Thus, Guerrero remains Peru's all-time top scorer having made 35 goals defending the red-white jersey.

Watford F.C. Andre Carrillo had scored the 1-0 for the Peruvians in the first half.

As is known, this match marks Peru's 2018 World Cup farewell game. It is held at Fisht Stadium in Sochi.
