Peruvian midfielder Edison Flores on Wednesday claimed to have the formula to defeat Denmark, the red-white squad's first rival at the upcoming World Cup tournament.
"I'm happy to join the national squad and to train with my teammates," the athlete expressed.
"It hurts us all, but we must turn the page since we have good players and must focus on the
training (sessions)," he noted.
Moreover, the Aalborg BK player remarked the national team is committed to qualifying for the round of 16.
He also indicated the clash against Denmark will be essential to achieving said objective.
"They have information about us. They have already studied us and will want to counter our game. They are a squad with a style different from what we have seen in the Danish league," he added.
As is known, Flores asked to be released from Aalborg BK to join the national team's training sessions. Although his request was not fulfilled, he did not play in the club's last two matches.
