Peru's traditional exports totaled US$2.733 billion in June 2017, up by 44.2% over the same month last year, the Central Reserve Bank (BCR) informed.
Said figures proved the positive growth rates registered since July 2016.
Expansion was underpinned by greater mining and fishmeal exports.
Last June, traditional export volume expanded 29.2%, whereas its average price rose 11.6%.
Likewise, the issuing entity highlighted the higher export volumes of fishmeal (835%), copper (36.3%), zinc (28.5%), coffee (29.4%), as well as crude oil and derivatives (26.9%).
Finally, the BCR underlined greater shipments to China, India and South Korea were registered during the previous 12 months.
