Social revolution promised by President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski stands firm and will be tabled in Parliament at Cabinet's inaugural address, Prime Minister Mercedes Araoz affirmed on Thursday.
The speech will focus on efforts to improve citizens' quality of life, mainly on
economic rebound, for which steps have already been taken.
"Without going into further detail, the idea is to reaffirm President Kuczynski's
commitment to social revolution and let people know we are going to work for those in need," she told RPP local news station.
According to Araoz, the Government can show concrete results, hence the need to "go to the field."
"We are going to see results in security, water and sanitation, health, and immediate medical care. There is a time for everything, and we are working on it," the Cabinet chief underlined.
Moreover, Araoz noted the work done by —her predecessor— Fernando Zavala who, she said, left things well settled.
