President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Tuesday called for promoting trade and investments, as well as maintaining Pacific Alliance's dynamism in the face of threats facing the world.
The Head of State underlined investment is going very well. Likewise, he expressed interest in discussing additional measures to
boost trade during a future meeting.
Peru's leader also highlighted the
Pacific Alliance's plan to 2030 and noted this
regional bloc seeks a deep integration, as well as to become a bridge towards the Asia-Pacific region. Furthermore, it intends to promote development and citizens' wellbeing.
"We are working on all that. These are priorities," he stressed.
Remarks were made during a virtual meeting President Kuczynski held with his counterparts Michelle Bachelet (Chile), Juan Manuel Santos (Colombia), and Enrique Peña Nieto (Mexico).
