Pope Francis appeared on the balcony of the Apostolic Nunciature in Lima this morning to pray the Hail Mary along with thousands of enthusiastic parishioners convened at the entrance.
The
Holy Father surprised the faithful with his appearance at 7:40 AM.
After that, he wished them a good day and delivered his blessing.
"Now, all together, we are going to receive the blessing. Let's greet our Mother," the Supreme Pontiff said before the prayer.
"May the blessing of Almighty God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit be upon you. Have a nice day. See you later," expressed the Pope before leaving for Air Group N°8, where he boarded a plane to
Puerto Maldonado —his next stop on his South American tour.
