83,790,285 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the
Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported.
Out of that total, 28,216,855 were given as second dose, thus accounting for 86.1% of the target population.
Within this framework, 20,681,945 citizens have been vaccinated with a third dose.
They also account for 72.4% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.
Similarly, 5,024,005 people have received the fourth dose.
