Peru's non-traditional exports totaled US$905 million in June 2017, up by 13.1% over the same month last year.
Growth was underpinned by farming and fishing exports.
Last June, non-traditional export volume expanded 6.2%, whereas its average price rose 6.5%.
In addition, the issuing entity highlighted the higher export volumes of canned giant squid (394.7%), frozen giant squid (180%),
zinc products (29.6%) and fresh
avocados (29.1%).
Finally, BCR underlined greater shipments to regions: Asia (78.8%), the European Union (11.4%) and North America (6.4%) were registered in the analyzed period.
