The ranking is led by Germany after winning the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017 final last Sunday.

Brazil holds the second position. Among South American teams, it is followed by Argentina (3rd), Chile (7th) and Colombia (8th).

Peru (14th) surpasses Uruguay (17th), Ecuador (31st), Paraguay (40th), Bolivia (67th) and Venezuela (69th).

The Inca squad will face Bolivia and Ecuador on August 31 (Lima) and September 5 (Quito), respectively.

These matches comprise its last opportunity to guarantee a place at Russia 2018 World Cup.

After defeating Uruguay (2-1), Peruvians are not allowed to make any mistakes in the South American Qualifiers.

Led by the Argentinean coach Ricardo Gareca, the red-white holds the seventh spot from a total of 10.
