Peru’s Foreign Affairs Minister Cayetana Aljovin on Tuesday met with her counterparts Chrystia Freeland of Canada and Maria Angela Holguin of Colombia prior to the Lima Group meeting.
According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, both gatherings were held separately and privately at Lima's Torre Tagle Palace.
Following said meetings, the government officials attended a lunch with other Lima Group members at the Ministry headquarters in Lima.
It must be noted Lima Group's Foreign Affairs Ministers held a meeting
in Peru's capital city on Tuesday afternoon to address early presidential elections in Venezuela
is composed of Foreign Affairs Ministers from 12 countries who met in Lima back in August 2017 to monitor the political crisis in the Bolivarian country.
