The intervention was carried out by Vraem Anti-drug Division—Ayacucho.

It must be noted the police action was supported by four UH 1H helicopters operated by PNP.

Both laboratories were located in San Agustin population center (Ayacucho region).

The police also found 2,352 kilograms of chemical substances (gasoline, lime, cement and iodized salt) and seized 60 kilograms of cocaine alkaloid.

Hidden in the wild vegetation, the laboratories had the capacity to process 400 arrobas of coca.

Products were destroyed with explosives under strict security measures to avoid damage to the environment.

This raid was conducted in coordination with Vraem police and the Armed Forces Special Command (CE-Vraem).
