Peru appoints new Ambassadors to Ireland, Switzerland and UK

The Peruvian Foreign Affairs Ministry appointed new Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Ireland, the Swiss Confederation and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Carmen Elena Mc Evoy Carreras will become the new Peruvian envoy to the Republic of Ireland. 

On the other hand, diplomat Luis Enrique Chavez Basagoitia will serve as Peru's top representative to the Swiss Confederation. 

Lastly, Susana Maria de la Puente Wiese was appointed as Peru's new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United Kingdom, as per Supreme Resolution No. 185-2017-RE published in El Peruano official gazette

It must be noted De la Puente Wiese will take on the position of Ambassador Claudio De la Puente Ribeyro, who was named Permanent Representative of Peru to International Organizations in Geneva (Switzerland). 

The said appointments were established through corresponding Supreme Resolutions signed by President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski and Foreign Affairs Minister Ricardo Luna.
